"don't say I didn't warn you"

so, like Anna, I've now become an advocate for The Thief. read it. and don't be fooled by the slow beginning. the end is fast enough (and awesome enough) to make you head spin. it all balances out, and then you can't stop thinking about it. each time you realize something new that the twist reveals. and then you want to re-read it so badly because you're sure there's still stuff you missed.
things like this are addicting. we need to start a Bookaholics Anonymous.

but that's not the real point of this post.

the real point of this post actually has no point. I came here to tell you that I may not be on much for the next week or two, because my computer is in computer hospital unable to do anything internet-related, so I am currently using my parents' when they are not using it. which is pretty rare. But I know that once I get my own back and it's all fixeded up, I'll never complain about dial-up again! (for the record, scratch that out, I'm sure I will complain about it again). but the reason there's no point to telling you this, is because I'm not hardly on as it is. which I'm just trying to remedy now, but my computer is sick. so please pray that Tirinwe will get better soon and then you will hear from me like things used to be. :P

beyond that, I suppose it's time I officially announced that my family's going to Hawaii on the 29th. I know you all know it because I said it elsewhere, but just to avoid getting in trouble in case you forgot, I can point out that it's on my blog. we'll be gone until the 9th. but the best part is, my computer ought to be fixed by then ("ought" with an "o") and there will be high-speed internet where we are staying. for 10 WHOLE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!! and we're hardly doing anything except snorkeling and looking at the world's largest banyan tree. and reading a LOT. so I'll be on there probably more than I am right now. anyway, I'll keep you all updated on our activities once we're there. I'm mostly looking forward to the sun.

but not looking forward to getting back only one week before my recital, and having no piano while we're there.

in other news, lots of people have been coming to look at our house. please pray that it sells (only of course, if it's God's will [duh]); we all really want to move. well, most all of us with the 'really' part. good news is that I may be able to keep my job once we move, which I'm very excited about. and start teaching piano. or possibly find work at an Indian restaurant - that would be pretty sweet I think.

so yeah, I'll be around when I'm able. life is normal right now, not overly busy but don't let that give you the idea that I actually have time. :)

love you all.

sorry Lucy! *cringe* I promise I'm calling tomorrow. you and Lindy both, because I was gone all of today and didn't get to wish her happy birthday or call you and wish you happy unbirthday.

btw, that number you gave me - is that your home or cell?
