potc plot and lots more..don't be daunted by size!

Ok, long post because I put the revised plot for my PotC thingy in it. I'd greatly appreciate any thoughts, comments, questions, etc. Thanks! (If you still haven't seen PotC II, I will keep my opinions to myself, but you should see it before reading this.)

*NOTE: This isn't meant to be a sequel or anything. I didn't write it to be PotC III, because as it is it wouldn't make any sense being that, and I didn't want to spend lots of time on an elaborate plot that would be totally different and probably not half as good as Disney's. I just took the same characters and put them in a new plot. except for Jack, most of the characters are in the same position as at the end of potc 2. Enjoy!

Plot
Barbossa's ghost is out to get Capt. Jack Sparrow, and he has the makings of his own fleet: the Interceptor II (stolen from His Majesty's Royal Fleet), a new ship: the Intrepid, and a pact with the Flying Dutchman. He offers Davy Jones Jack Sparrow in return for 5 men from the Flying Dutchman's crew. He receives the 5 men, including Wyvern and Bootstrap Bill Turner. Barbossa is marked with the black spot until he delivers Jack, to ensure that his promise will be made good. Barbossa also agrees to return Davy Jones' heart to him.Jack can't run forever: he must face his fears in the shape of Barbossa's ghost. Meanwhile Will's marriage is again interrupted by Jack, who comes to demand Will's help in return for freeing his father (Bootstrap Bill). When Norrington comes to Gov. Swann and says he would like to help by dissuading Will from helping Jack, Swann accepts. Then Elizabeth discovers what her father has done and runs away to save Will from Norrington.Jack wants to vanquish Barbossa's ghost and kill Davy Jones, and when Will helps only under the condition that Jack return's the Interceptor II (which he steals from Barbossa), Jack agrees, keeping in his mind that he'll barter the ship back to Becket in return for Jones' heart. (Jack will then have killed Barbossa and Davy Jones, and he will be free). He would also like the Pearl back if possible. Will wants to free his father and marry Elizabeth, along with returning the Interceptor II to the Navy. He tells Jack that he'll help him in return for his father, but only if Jack returns the Interceptor II.Norrington wants to kill Will and Jack. He is now commander of the Dauntless and has naval authority from Becket to do so.Barbossa wants to kill Jack. If possible, he also wants to double-cross Davy Jones and become the "Immortal Captain of the Flying Dutchman." ("The Immortal Captain Barbossa has such a nice ring to it, don't you think?") He has his monkey.Elizabeth wants to marry Will, but first she has to save him from Norrington. She also wants to help Will in any way possible.Gov. Swann wants to keep Elizabeth out of harm, and to dissuade Will from helping Jack.Becket wants to kill Will and Jack. Becket commissions Norrington to kill Captain Jack Sparrow and capture Will Turner dead or alive, but devises his own scheme when Jack shows up at his front door with the Interceptor II looking for the heart of Davy Jones. He decides to capture Jack on his way out, but unfortunately for Becket Jack sends a decoy: Will, dressed as Jack. Will escapes with the heart of Davy Jones, but without a ship. He lies and tells Jack that he lost the heart, for he intends to trade it to Barbossa in return for his father. (Here Jack decides to stay in Port Royal in the hopes of getting the heart.) He finds out that Elizabeth has run away to find Will, who has left to find Barbossa, and decides to visit Tia Dalma. He re-commandeers the Interceptor II, and on the way to visit her, he meets Norrington. They fight, neither one dies, but Jack finds out (somehow) that Will actually got the heart and lied to him. Meanwhile, Elizabeth is searching for Will and/or Norrington, and joins Norrington's crew in search for Will (and Jack). deserts when Norrington and Jack cross paths, and Jack takes Elizabeth as a hostage, to persuade Will to give him the heart of Davy Jones. Meanwhile, Will has been in Tortuga, and finally finds a crew to join, which he deserts when he finds Barbossa. Barbossa wants to kill Jones, but he won't break his pact with Jones (by giving Will his father, even in return for the heart) until he's killed Jack and has nothing to fear from Jones, and he asks Will to help him find Jack. Will refuses, so Barbossa takes him as prisoner, but Will won't reveal where the heart is. (He gave it to Elizabeth in Port Royal for safekeeping.) When Jack shows up on the Black Pearl (after visiting Tia Dalma) to kill Barbossa, he brings Elizabeth along as a hostage, because he learned from Norrington that Will had lied. Jack doesn't know that Elizabeth has the heart. Norrington failed to take Jack so he was decommissioned, but he still wants to kill Will and Jack. Will takes the heart back from Elizabeth, and tells Jack he'll give him the heart if Jack will let Elizabeth go and abide by the former terms (i.e. Interceptor II is already returned, but Jack must free Will's father). Jack agrees. Will won't surrender the heart until he has his father back, but Jack needs the heart in order to barter for the father. He explains this and Will trusts him (never trust a pirate).Tia Dalma has given Jack Barbossa's heart, which Jack must stab in order to kill Barbossa. Nobody knows this yet except Jack and Tia Dalma. She gave him Barbossa's heart and raised the Black Pearl from the depths (again) in return for Jack ridding the world of Davy Jones (who was once in love with her; she was the woman who didn't love him back, and the reason he carved out his heart). Jack tells Barbossa that he'll give him Davy Jones' heart in return for Bootstrap, but he gives him his own (Barbossa's) heart instead. They fight, because Barbossa is supposed to bring Jack to Davy Jones. Jack lets Barbossa win (but not obviously). Barbossa brings Jack to the Flying Dutchman, intending to bring Jones' heart to him but to stab it before his eyes. He will then kill Jack, who is bound. Jack informs Will of the "change of hearts," and they form a plan. Will will sneak onto the Flying Dutchman, and will set Jack free in time for him to stab Jones' heart before Jones kills him. However, Norrington shows up at the last minute with the Dauntless determined to kill the two men who ruined his life, Will and Jack, and he has the royal Navy behind him. (Norrington has made a deal with Becket: He gets his commission back in return for bringing the heart of Davy Jones back to Becket.) He meets Will rowing over to the Dutchman and they fight in the rowboat. The boat drifts toward the Dutchman, where Will manages to throw Norrington into the water and jump on board, where he begins to hack his way through the sailors to the cabin where Jack is. Norrington soon follows. Will enters just as Barbossa is plunging a knife into his own heart, though he believes it to be Jones'. He dies quickly. Will makes a rush to unbind Jack, but Davy Jones quickly realizes what has happened, and throws Will to the floor, while making a leap for Jack, whom he believes has his real heart. Norrington enters at this point, and grabs the heart from Will, who was about to stab it. He and Will fight, then Jones leaves Jack and all four of them end up fighting. (Norrington wants the heart so he won't lose his commission again, Jack wants to kill Jones, Will wants to kill Jones, Jones wants to not be killed. Norrington also wants to kill Will and Jack and escape with the heart.) The heart changes hands many times, but finally ends up flying through the air, and it lands on the table. Will and Jack both plunge a knife into it at the same time, while Norrington and Jones look on in horror. Jones dies. Norrington runs, but trips and falls unconscious to the deck. Jack becomes captain of the Dutchman, the Pearl, and the Intrepid (though he does return the Interceptor II again), and they maroon Norrington on the cannibal island. The last shot of the film (after the credits) is of Norrington running across the beach with the cannibals close behind. Will and Elizabeth get married.

I wanted to tie loose ends up because I wan't planning to write a sequel plot for this. Of course I can, if there's any interest, and untie a few of the strings, but I think I wrapped everything up on this. I hope it doesn't seem too "happily ever after" for potc, but that's what I came up with. Thoughts?

Ok, so I squeaked by with an A for my Mid-Term Chem test, but all three of us in my class ended up with a B in the next module test. Too much to remember! I mean, like who cares what the chemical formula and electrical charge for acetate is? Oh well, I got the concepts down fairly well, even if I couldn't memorize everything. Now we have practically no homework this week, and no co-op this week either, so I have like nothing to do!

For those of you who didn't know, our family is looking for a new church home currently. We'd appreciate it a lot if you could keep us in your prayers in that area.

What else? Hmmm....the chest is coming along. I posted about that earlier. We started My Best Friend's Wedding last night, but only got 1/2 hour into it before I had to go to bed. Looks good so far though. I loooooved First Knight.

Oh yes! Our Indian dinner thingy for my dad's family! It was really really super-great! The food was pretty good. We made shrimp biryani and tandoori chicken, and my aunt brought naan, and lots of people brought other things that were pretty good. We also found an Indian spice store, which will be good for future (i.e. my birthday party!!!)

Speaking of which, I turn 15 in 3 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would say I can't wait to get my permit, but I can't string up the nerve to call the place. Tomorrow, I hope.

Namarie, melloni nin!
