Hello world!
just sitting here doing my project for Civics.
well, I'm supposed to be doing my project for Civics...
just taking a little break, ha-ha, what I really need.
Did anyone watch the game last night? Want to know something really freaky? I had a dream last night that the Seahawks were in the SuperBowl! It was 3rd quarter and we were winning. Hmm...two years in a row?
My parents are at a board meeting thingy...and I going to get my homework done and then call Eowyn and MJ. Seriously. I mean it this time. If I don't call you Eowyn, please chastise me, because I'm really serious this time. It's been too long.
Ah, girls' campout thing. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where to do it? I'll look at my calendar for dates, but I have to wait til Mom gets home since she has it on her 'puter. I think we should do it in August, because Camp Hope is in June/July (which I think pretty much all of us are going to, including me!), so we probably don't want it right before or after that. What do ya'll think?
Oh, I think this is my first post here in beta!
mwaha. that was the ugliest game i have ever seen. i just about cried when romo dropped it it was so ugly. hey, a win is a win, right?
ReplyDeleteFootball . . .
ReplyDeleteWhen all the men sit around the TV yelling crazy things like "intereception!!!" And then describe to no one some complex move. "Oh man! someone did something and then . . ."
Oh, oh,
ReplyDeleteand then when I sit down at the couch to read, (I'm not going to move just because of some football game. ) Dad tried to make me promise I would watch the Superbowl if the seahocks got there . . . Which I wouldn't, and then claims that hes just trying to make me a good wife, when I get married - "How are you going to ever find a husband? I'm just trying to help you . . ." - and I tell dad that I couldn't care less, especially if I'm going to have to pretend to like football. My dad is a big tease.
No offense Verya. I know you like sports. They don't really interest me though.
*yawn*
ReplyDeletecould not agree with you more, Eowyn!
I hid in my room and read Mansfield park while they watched that game.
we pretend to like it when girls like sports and video games and fishing.
ReplyDeletewe really don't. it's kind of our thing. just, don't take it from us. that's my advice to women.
Do men also just pretend to like it when girls like camping?
ReplyDeleteBecause this girl doesn't. And this girl votes that we do something, anything, other than purposly isolate ourselves from the world in a frozen wasteland.
We can take a road trip. We can all spend the night at Eowyn's house for a week. We can all go to the moon, for all I care... but please... no... camping.
just think... no curiling irons...
ReplyDeleteK, I'm really done now.
Really, we should take a short road trip. Now THAT would be fun.
but then we have to haul parents along and there's all the worries about who drives and whose parents exactly (not my mom. please not my mom.) camping really is the best option. plus where do we sleep on this road trip thing? hotels are expensive. camping is $10 a night.
ReplyDeleteI have now now finished bashing down your protests with my gigantic sledge hammer.......
Camping is fun. Wait till it gets a llittle warmer. I did it with some girls from church. Millie might not have a particular taste for it, but I think you'd like it. ( And you can bring your own curling iron. And I don't think mom would apreciate everyone staying a week at my house. How about yours?)
ReplyDeleteau contraire, I wouldn't take away football from anyone. Just don't try and make me watch it. If that is what guys enjoy doing than that is fine with me.
Oh did you like Mansfield Parks Anna? I really like it.
Waaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't read it yet. Mom's reading Emma, and so far she's a selfish snob. But I think she gets better. Actually Anna, Mom read Northanger Abbey (sp?) but she has read Mansfield Park.
ReplyDeleteI like sports yes. I looooove baseball. I looooove golf. I do not loooove football. I only saw the 4th quarter because I had nothing better to do (and actually I was sewing while watching) and the Seahawks are in the Playoffs. If it's not a playoff game I generally couldn't care less about football either. Esp. when they describe complex moves to no one in particular, and then expect you to understand what in the world they just said, ;) But if it's the Seahawks and it's playoff games or Superbowls, then I'll watch it.
Now Mariners are a different story completly...
Don't you want to do the girls' campout Em? I think it would be lots of fun! But I say wait til it gets lots warmer. Like August.
Is everyone having fun in the 'blizzard of '07?'
*sigh*
ReplyDeleteWell, I suppose I could be dragged. Maybe. But I've been known to be positivly irritating on camping trips. You have been warrned. :-)
I sometimes watch basketbal and try to typewatch the players. hehe. And I L-O-V-E going to sports games, but I hardly ever glance at the field. And actually, Sam, it was your dad who told me I'd never find a husband if I didn't change that. A loooong time ago. LOL...
well it depends on what you define as "camping." it'd be a little scary if a girl really liked backpacking or something. for me.
ReplyDeletethat's hilarious. yeah, their personality certainly comes out in their style of play.
you guys should just pack up a few pbnj's and try to find the north pole or the yukon.
The North Pole??? To cold for me.
ReplyDeleteYeah we have enough snow here, ha-ha. Let's sail west and see if we can reach Spain via India, and then make lots of money off of Ferdinand and Isabella, 'k?
ReplyDeleteWe might need to add some raisins to that.
humiliated grapes i like mayonnaise!
Sorry.....very random right now.
*gasp*
ReplyDeleteNooooo...
lol JK
ReplyDeleteWell, blogging has really died lately, hasn't it?
ReplyDeleteIts not died, just were all busy.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to post as soon as I'm...not busy.
ReplyDeleteActually I have part of a post written up, I just need to finish it and post it.
Tomorrow. I'll try my hardest.
I'm checking blogs every day though!
