I'm in the process of skipping school, right now.
see, yesterday there was this Spanish guitar concert at school, and us music students got extra credit for going. and today the guy is going to be in our class teaching a master class to the guitar players.
well I don't really play guitar....and music is my 8:00 class.
so I'm skipping.
and last night, I had to decide if I wanted and extra hour of sleep or an extra hour of study time.
I could use two more hours of both.
mid-terms are next week in history.
so I went half-and-half.
here I am, juggling my time like a very tired and somewhat stressed-out circus clown.
haha thank youuuuuu for the selwar kameez. i love you forever. as usual. =)
ReplyDeleteand you are a circus clown, get used to it. =D
selwar kameez?
ReplyDeleteCome on, tell me. I'll send you chocolate!
you skiped school! *gasp*
ReplyDeleteoooohhhh....chocolate!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'll tell you for free, actually. we have so much food (mostly high-carb and sugar food) right now I don't need to add more chocolate to thhe mix. but thanks anyway.
a selwar kameez is an Indian outfit that women wear. it's basically a long, kind of dress-like top over a pair of really big, baggy, and extremely comfortable pants. you top it off with a scarf called a dupita that is constantly getting in the way.
Anna is borrowing one of mine for her costume concert. we're trying to make it look African.
I could use prayer for school right now though - I am really really stressed about everything. I just hit a tough spot in math that I'm not understanding so that is super-frustrating, and my mid-term in history is on Monday so I have a ton of material to study for that. I don't want to sound really negative or anything, but I'm struggling getting through this week.
thanks guys ;) you are amazing!
school is hard, but what your doing is super hard . . .
ReplyDeleteyou probably won't think so when you get to it Katie.
ReplyDeleteand I'm just being an emotional teenager. I'm doing lots better today.
I think the hardest thing isn't the work, but the limit on study time. it seems like every weekend I need to study for something, and every weekend I'm gone or really busy with something. that's probably why I feel so unprepared for everything.
I am terrible at studying
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for running start. Depending on what I do, I can choose my classes . .. . bliss
waaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiitttt . . . . did you just say bliss in the same sentance as choseing your classes? did you say "bliss" in the same paragraph as "running start"?
ReplyDeleteyou know, nevermind. you have fun . . . .
HAHA.
ReplyDeletebtw, jacob doesn't like it when people think positively about the future.
APPARENTLY.
haha when i was homeschooled i had absolutely nothing to do and was completely bored. but just add an actual place to go to school as opposed to my computer, and i'm crazy busy, all the time. i have had one sunday so far when i wasn't doing something crazy.
oh well. =) i love being this busy.
sort of.
on the good days.
lol . . . . well, you could say i'm thinking REALISTICLY . . . . not nessissarily "positively". lol.
ReplyDeletebut yes, actually having somewhere to go makes life seem pretty busy when you used to homeschooling.
oh dear, let's not get into the whole pessimist/realist thing, please.
ReplyDeleteyeah, I am a lot busier than when I was homeschooled. it's mostly because you've added homework, and you can't be so flexible to just skip school or do it in the car or do it at a different time of the day. I think that's mostly it because the work isn't that much harder.
well, so far anyway.
right Anna...nothing to do. for your information dear, you were doing something all the time then and you're doing something all the time now.
haha no i wasn't.
ReplyDeletewell, okay, i was. but that really involved reading way too much.
school took out all my reading time. and i feel way busier now too. and tired. school took out a lot of sleeping time.
I second that.
ReplyDeletei un-second that.
ReplyDeletei continue to get a beautiful, solid, 6 hours of sleep :)
haha but you never slept before school jacob. school didn't change that. I, on the other hand......
ReplyDelete*sighs*
aww, poor Anna.
ReplyDeleteHey, I think there is something to be said for choosing classes. And Katie has enough years until she gets there to look forwards too it.
I get about 9 hours of sleep. I still don't find that enough. I think I am growing . . . Yes, choosing classes would be bliss. Being able to decide what I want to do with my life.
ReplyDeleteI agree - I still don't find nine hours enough!!! ten is my idea of a good night's sleep. but I only get that about once a month or so, I've learned to survive between seven and eight. and it's not so much how much sleep I'm getting as when I have to get up. If I get up before seven, it usually doesn't matter what time I went to bed. Just not a morning person I guess.
ReplyDeleteof course we already knew that...
when I get 12 hours of sleep I feel perfect That only happens twice every 4 months
ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeletepitifull . . . . .
poor little sleep dependants . . . .
ok, try this. wake up at 4:00 and make your self a pot of coffee. It feels so goooooooood.
of course, thats me. i don't get affected by caffien as much as most people.
i know! eat lots a candy at 4:00. the kind that makes you bounce off the walls *and* ceilings. ;-)
coffee, yecchhh. :)
ReplyDeleteanyway, don't mention candy again. it's Halloween. candy overdose. harvest festival. lots and lots of sugar - like too much.
well, tomorrow you can talk about candy again.
haha well we all know what jacob does in the mornings.
ReplyDeletewait. is this 4:00 am or pm? if i could wake up at 4 pm every day i wouldn't have any problems.
what do you think. seriously. do you think my 'rents would even ALLOW me to wake up at 4? besides. i would be bed sick by that time . . . . . LOL. bedsick. i love it.
ReplyDeleteOooohhh. . . already went through the whole coffee thing. Where were YOU bo??? :-D
ReplyDeleteI've tried waking up at 4am every morning. And truthfully, I could like without it. Because the earlier you get up, the sooner you have to get to bed at night. And we all know, it is the evenings where ALL the fun happens!! I much rather go to bed late then wake up earlier. And waking up before it is light out is, just. . . WRONG! Hmm. . . Maybe I am living in the wrong state for that. . . since in winter it doesn't get light out until 9:30am. . . bleh . . . anyways, . ,
thats when you do like me, get up earlier, go to bed later! lol. 'course, it's kinda unhealthy . . . . but so is candy and coffee so there. :D
ReplyDeleteI can't have coffee. My sleep remains. and btw I don't care if I depend on sleep. Its one of the most peaceful places.
ReplyDeleteYes that's what Anna and I do when we get together - go to bed really late and generally get up really early for one reason or another. works great for a few days but when you're paging for a whole week....
ReplyDeletelet's just say people start getting grumpy either at night or in the morning. "you keep me up too late." "you get me up too early."
you get the picture.
:P
If caffeine doesn't do much for you, than why does it feel so good?
ReplyDeleteIt actually doesn't do that much for either.
I like to get up at a reasonable time, and go to bed early, so that I can read REALLY late. : )
well, go to bed, go to sleep, two different things.
ReplyDeleteI'm reading *thump*
the Mystery *thump-thump*
of Edwin Drooooooood!
what was that? edward droooool? ew. LOL.
ReplyDeletewell, caffien doens't make me all that hyper, but it causes me to wake up and clear my head in the mornings. THAT is mainly why i'm thankfull for it. i'm SO drowsy in the mornings , , , blech.
lol paging? blech. GTALK! lol.
