I'm hopeless at electric cooking. those of you who have gas ranges know what I'm talking about.

for those of you who know the well-kept secret of what number to cook eggs, boil water, etc. at, please enlighten the rest of us!

"I'm hopelessly flawed."

and now it's time for golf. see y'all!

  6. don't worry Katie, I'm like that about some things. like golf - that's something you have to work REALLY hard to get even okay at. which is why it's so frustrating.

just find something you're really passionate about and the patience will come.

  7. Hey Anna, can you remove me from your blog and then re-invite me? I restarted my computer last night and it still won't let me comment.

Also, the Corn Field won't either, but I think Lindy has to do that.

    And I can't comment on Lucy's blog either. :(

    or Crystal's.

or Emily's, apparently. this is a really big problem.

  9. The usual way to find the right number is to move it down a little when it's too hot and move it up a little when it's not cooking fast enough.........

I can cook on a stovetop, but I stink at anything to do with an oven.

That's so cool that you might have your first student!!! I taught an impromptu theory lesson to someone at college the other day and they said I should charge money to do that. I was happy. I think all education would be a blast if it consisted of one interested and passionate person explaining a subject that they've stumbled upon in the middle of a casual conversation to one other interested person who doesn't understand it as well. Or maybe two or three other people, but ideally one. Do you know what I mean?

oh yes, and I got my first ever birdie!!! (that means one under par).

  12. why didn't i come yesterday?????
    darn it. =) oh well.

    ReplyDelete
  13. you didn't come yesterday because you think golf is dorky and boring.

and it is boring, if you're just watching and not playing.

and you've done your duty so you're never coming again, right?

    ReplyDelete
  14. yeah, pretty much.

and it is boring and dorky. sorry.

  15. wherefore didn't i come 3 days ago! i keep missing all the good conversations . . . . .

but golfs not dorky and boring . . . . just boring. it's horrible how boring it is to watch. dorky, it is not, for the concluding result is the insultation of my grandpa . . . well, while he was alive. and he wasn't dorky. lol yes! RANTS USA!

i is sorry, i will attempt to torture you with my presence more often.

  16. golf is incredibly boring. i won't call it dorky, because i have discovered even more dorkness then that:

    competitive croquet. OH YEAH. hardcore.

  17. I bet it's not like Alice in Wonderland croquet though. :P

Actually I do love the aspect of golf keeping me warm. it's the only thing that can during the fall/winter. lots of golf and lots of excercise.

    blah......
