.....I'm getting my ears pierced.
Yes, seriously. for real. Lauren says she'll hold my hand.
So now you can all buy/make me earrings for Christmas, and when you're in Claire's trying to remember "does Kacy have pierced ears???" you can think about this blog post, and how she said she was getting her ears pierced and hoping it wouldn't hurt too badly, and then did it sometime back in June, and most definitely does have pierced ears, so you can buy/make the earrings.
I figure I need to do it before I go back to India. All the girls there pierce their ears as babies, and it's really awkward if you don't have pierced ears. Lauren is getting a piercing soon, and told me I should go with her and we'll do it together.
rats. why am I doing this???
anyway, yeah. that's it.
oh and, btw, you guys need to keep up. I'm actually finally posting again and hardly anybody's commenting!!!! *whines* okay never mind.
PPS
Father/Daughter Camp starts Friday and I'll be completely out all weekend. no e-mail, no phone, no texting, yeah. and Monday I plan on being sick with my mom, but I guess if it's an emergency then it's all right (like you just couldn't stand not hearing my voice anymore or something. or if you get caught and killed). I don't know if I'll post again before that or not, but expect a hefty post afterwards that will make you all want to come next year!!!!!!
today I drove to piano by myself, in my mom's car. i'm still alive and so is everyone else involved. this falls under the good news category and that's why you didn't see it on TV.
WOW! Cool! You're getting your ears peirced? How exciting!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou'll like it. And it doesn't hurt too bad. For some people it doesn't hurt at all. And if it does hurt, it will only hurt for a second.
Oh, and what's it like to drive.... all.... by.... your.... self...... Scary? I'd be scared. But them, maybe you're just braver than me.
when are you getting them pierced? I'll send you a congradulatory pair of earrings as soon as your six weeks are up.
ReplyDeleteactually I would really, really, love to see the expression on your face. because I'm mean like that, lol.
Don't worry Kacy, it is totally and completely worth it. I've never regretted having mine done, and I was scared to death. And from all accounts, its different for everyone, so there is no use in fretting about it, because it may not hurt at all.
ReplyDeleteWait- INDIA?!?
ReplyDeleteAre you going back?
Kacy. *taps foot* How long do I have to beg and plead for you to put up a post about your last India visit?????
ReplyDeleteI don't even remember getting my ears pierced. I wanted it, I got it done, but I don't actually remember it happening. And yes, I do wear earrings.
HAHAHAHAHA that's hilarious Lucy! So I'm not really scared. I mean, if almost every girl in America has their ears pierced then I know it's not so bad. it'll be cool.
ReplyDeleteJust to clear things up, because more than one of you is slightly confuzzled: I'm not going back to India yet. I mean, I'm certainly going back, but the trip isn't planned yet. the mission trip I'll be referring to from here through August is the South Dakota trip with my youth group. However, I am hoping to go either back to India, or possibly to Thailand, over my Christmas break. maybe. *crosses fingers*
stupid cat. she needs a bath tonight. Comet got all dusty and she's making me break out!
any or all of you are welcome to come. it'll be at the mall...I don't know which one, sometime this month....I don't know what day. so yeah - be there! and please RSVP too.
and don't worry Lucy, I want to put up pictures and you know what that's like with dial-up - oh no wait, I guess you don't. haha :P I will be getting it up though when I can get some high-speed for more than five minutes, and when my draft is all finished up. It's coming!!!!!
I'll let you guys know when I get it done. I need to talk to Lauren and see when she wants to go. sometime this month though, hopefully.
Yeah I remember when I got my ears pierced. I cried like a baby. And THEN, my mom realized that they got one of the holes crooked and out of line!!! So I was given the option of going back to the mall..... or having my mom do it. I vied for mommy. It hurt. But I got like three candy bars outa it after each session. :-D I remember lots of bars of soap....
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, GO KACY!!! I'll send or make you some earings... one of these days....
ReplyDeleteOH! I know what would be WAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than a pair of earings! A PUPPY!!!!! Yesssss!! I'll just send you a puppy instead. Hehehe
ReplyDeleteif you send me one of your Chesapeake Bay Retrievers my father will kill me. and then he'll fly to Idaho and kill you. as much as I'd love one of your puppies....(bad idea, very bad idea).
ReplyDeleteso, are you just trying to freak me out now that I've gotten sort of used to the idea Lindy? not cool.
Hey Cool! I got my ears peirced a while back and it didn't hurt... more like a weird pinching and then your ears feel really hot for like 5 or 10 minutes afterwords. lol. Except now my ears aren't peirced anymore because I had to let my holes close up =( I should get them re-done one of these days...
ReplyDeleteNo no! NOT trying to freak you out Kacy. AT ALL! Mine was, well, I'm sure it wasn't half as dramatic as I thought it was at five years old. :P
ReplyDeleteHaha! But your dad would LOVE my puppies! They're so cute! I'm still trying to work MY dad into keeping one. *whispers* He has a favorite!
OH!!! I really want to see your puppy! Send me pictures!
ReplyDeleteso, getting them pierced on Friday, the 20th, which is actually Lauren's birthday. yay!!!!!!
ReplyDeletewell MJ, driving by yourself isn't really that scary for me. at least not around home. but I live in the middle of nowhere and learned to drive on backroads with no traffic and few jerks or idiots. I just drove from Redmond to Seattle today in my grandma's car, and it was a little nervewracking.
I might be driving all the way to Anna's next month which actually freaks me out quite a bit. it would be nice if I don't end up having to take my mom's car. it's a stick shift. and there's lots of HILLS in Seattle hahaha.
If hills bug you, don't drive you mom's car to where I live! lol! We have TONS of hills here. (I live in Clarkston)
